  Worst experience I have ever had in retail. I wanted to buy a propane heater as we have had several days below 0° outside. My Tractor I use for Snow removal won't start due to these temps. I needed it to heat up my tractor due to an impending storm. They had several K1 heaters but I won't use it enough to burn the fuel. They had a sign for a 60k propane heater like I needed. I asked if they had one and was told I had to order it. No problem though because they had one coming in the next day. So I ordered it there in the store. Paid for it and was told that when it comes in they would call me. This was Thursday. Friday comes and I get no call. I called on Sunday and was told they didn't get it in but it may be on the truck Monday. So I call Monday and I am told it may not be coming until later due to the truck breaking down and there is nothing they can do about it. So Tuesday I went in as the storm is now going to be a Nor-easter. I still don't have my tractor started and I need this heater. They now don't have any K1 heaters on the shelves either. After some research they finally tell me that they "sold" my heater on Friday to someone else. REALLY. No one has any heaters around so now I can't get my tractor started and the storm is two days out. All I get is I'm sorry. I didn't take it out on the clerk as he was the only one that was honest with me. Sorry to complain but Home Depot you really left me in a bad spot. This will be very difficult for you to come back from. Complete dishonesty from some of your employees. Bad management if this kind of treatment is acceptable. Poor processes if you cant see that there was an paid for order on the item when it came in. I am beyond dissatisfied with you. I wish there was a no star rating. I would use it.
